Travel and Shop Pick- Washington DC

Archway to DC Chinatown

We do not discuss politics on this blog, this is the closest we will get.

DC has some great places for vintage shopping(lots of home and furniture stores, guess I was in that type of mood), travel and head to these stores, you will not be disappointed.
DC has some of the best malls with every brand name out there, lots of repetition,so my list is more small, boutique focused.

My personal favorite areas are Chinatown(great restaurants and shopping) and the Adams Morgan neighborhoods, here we go.

Bazaar Atlas- I spent hours in this store, just browsing, sniffing oils and checking out the bead bar. They sell imports from Africa and Asia(furniture, masks and more),rugs and leather items. Call ahead if you are not sure how of the area, you could miss the store.
