Travel and Shop Pick- Miami





South Beach,Bal Harbour,Coconut Grove,Lincoln Rd,Art Basel

There is something for every shopping budget in Miami.

My favorite place in Miami is Lincoln Rd during the Christmas season, I can spend hours people watching.
Every time we visit Miami, I arrive with my list of shops to visit and  my husband is always gracious enough to take me to all the far flung places I must see :)

Here are some carefully chosen places to check out while in Miami. In no particular order.

Agnes B- Add a bit of French chic to your wardrobe. The venerable label has been dressing women who simple, well cut clothing, great quality clothing fo over 20 years. You are guaranteed to find something there.
640 Collins Ave.

Malia Mills- If you have a swimsuit emergency, head to Malia Mills or Tomas Maier. You will find sizes for all body types and everything is sold as a separate!  yeah!
610 Collins Ave

Tomas Maier- Now designer for Bottega Venata, he became world famous for his swimwear. The swimwear cuts are very forgiving, for any age, great designs and he does some sexy black suits! A must see!
Miami Design District
170 NE 40th Street,


Brownes &Co Apothecary- Top lines like Fresh, Yonka Paris,I Coloninali. Of try a wonderful facial at the lounge upstairs. Great for wedding party or girls weekend pampering.
841 Lincoln Rd.

Sola Topee (Home) - Wonderful range of British Colonial Furniture including Indian Daybeds. If this is your style, you will want to revamp your entire home after a visit there.
3925 NE Second Ave

Celine- Even if you cannot afford to shop at this store, you must stop by to see the genius work of Phoebe Philo, the reigning designer of the moment and queen of the new minimalism. Maybe, just maybe you can get one of those handbags! Must see!
Bal Harbor Shops- 9700 Collins Ave.

Coco and Palenki- I know I have not covered much about shoes, sorry ladies! This store stocks D&G,Moschino,Sam Edelman and Tory Burch. They also sell handbags.
3015 Grand Ave, Coconut Grove.

Chroma- Labels that you may not find anywhere else, fantastic assortment for every taste.
920 Lincoln Rd

Adidas- My heart always races when I am in an Adidas store. They stock all of the great Bekenbauer pieces and tons of retro. Just visit for some soccer nostalgia. A Must See!
226 8th Street

Jonathan Adler- Seventies style home designs, great place for gifts.
1024 Lincoln Rd

Sasparilla- Outstanding vintage assortment including handbags from Gucci and D&G.
1630 Pennsylvania Ave

Bottega Veneta- While everyone else is mobbing Prada visit this store for their signature woven leather bags. Classic and timeless, it will last forever.

Island Trading Co- Owned by Chris Blackwell of Island records, it stocks Quicksilver,Tommy Bahama and Jams Hawaiian.
1330 Ocean Drive

Polo Sport Ralph Lauren- We must have a bit of Ralph in Miami. The usual assortment but in tons of white, navy and red.
740 Collins Ave.

MAC at South Beach- enough said. Who better to prep our faces for the night out??
